Popular Post webfact Posted January 8, 2021 Popular Post Posted January 8, 2021 Bangkok cops find ashes at suspected gambling den after embarrassing social media post Picture: Daily News A social media post that proved highly embarrassing for the Thai police and other authorities was soon investigated. Netizens had a gleeful time sharing pictures of gambling tables that were mistakenly dropped in the middle of the road in Lat Krabang south east of Bangkok. They had literally fallen off the back of a lorry, or pick-up! Cops examined CCTV and then applied for a search warrant from the Minburi criminal court to break into premises in Soi Chalong Krung in Lat Krabang. But they were a little bit late in some regards. Daily News reported that they found a pile of ashes that were still hot. There were also half burned cards and gambling lists. Further evidence, that included cards and lists of football gambling, was found at several warehouses on the compound where there were also things like snooker tables, billiards equipment and ceramics stored. The owner of the facility is being sought as there was no one present when the authorities arrived to cut their way in. They are harvesting now in our area so many many rai in the cue. No end in sight. Anyway, it must be faily large operation as it appears they are also a gambling equipment supplier. Hmm. I wonder if they are advertising on facebook. ????
