Feedback on 2 health insurance companies I am considering.

Hi all. I would like to get as much feedback as I can about two different insurance companies that offer “Long Stay”, expat heath insurance plans that I am interested in (or suggestions for others). They both offer plans that are quite similar so the next criteria I would have is about how easy, responsive and reliable those companies are when a claim is filed with them.

The companies who’s plans I am considering are Pacific Cross and WRLIFE. In both plans there are no deductibles and in their most basic plans they both offer about 400,000 baht maximum coverage per year. For those most basic plans for someone of my age 74, the annual premium in one case is about 60,000 baht and in the other about 70,000 baht.

Both will insure a person of any age. Almost all of their coverages are identical, though the WRLIFE plan is slightly lower in cost and has slightly better for benefits in certain categories. Any feedback would be very helpful. Thanks.

Better to have a deductible and higher coverage, 400k is hardly worth bothering with especially at 60k a year. Pacific Cross is popular but cover is low and if you claim expects premiums to jump
