The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) is set to announce a further easing of the restrictions put in place to help combat the spread of COVID-19.

The most notable of restrictions to be eased would see Bangkok moved from the ‘red zone’ to the ‘orange zone’ which should mean bars and pubs are allowed to reopen and  restaurants would be allowed to serve alcohol.

According to deputy spokesperson Apisamai Srirangsan, the CCSA we will meet on Monday  to discuss the easing of restrictions.

Elsewhere, the number of provinces listed in the ‘green zone’ will increase from 35 to 54, while those in the ‘orange zone’ will drop from 20 to 8.  The number of provinces in the yellow zone will reduce from 17 to 14.

Total non sense - ask yourself who is benefitting from no booze in town ? I would like to hear your opinion ????

Apart from the wife & my mother, the only person that ever told me not to drink (or smoke for that matter) was the doctor, and a lot of the medical profession do both prodigiously, so I assumed it was to protect the supplies for themselves.

When is the penny going to drop that The Gates of Hell is playing with the world as if it's his toy ?? Just follow the trail. It is generally agreed by the "experts" that this virus was not only man-made but came from a lab in Wuhan. Who funds this particular lab in Wuhan ? None other than your man himself through his own lab in sunny U.S.A. ! Therefore there must be traffic between these 2 labs, both in personnel and highly likely materials too. Who predicted the entire scenario just right before the outbreak ? How easy would it be to engineer this entire catastrophe ? Follow the money trail and you will never be far wrong ????

Your smoking too much Ganga, everybody knows  it was from a lab in Pattaya.

Big difference. One protects against a real virus, while the other protects against the imagination of the disenfranchised who spend too much time in their mother's basement reading Qanon and infowars.com.

Many bars in Bangkok have taken it upon themselves to open anyway &  are not even trying to "social distance" or providing hand gel, tracing etc, so may as well let the ones who will take care

open , or are certain people "conveniently going blind"to help pay the car payments

Said it ages ago, as soon as someone counts up how much is being lost all over the country there'll be a miraculous drop in figures and the whole place will be wide open for business...... Quarantine dropped and full bore !    It's a win win situation, those that get i'll, Rob em in Hospital, those that die, Rob em through the embassies, jack all the prices up and Bob's your uncle...... Submarines and Space rockets next year...... Nobody shut the place down when Aids was rampant in the country, even today it's killing more than C19 is.....  The gig's up lads, time to poke your head up over the parapit.........

It's going to have to happen anyway, or die...... Hey the odds of getting killed in Thailand of a multitude of far deadlier nasties far outweigh the chance of catching Wu-Flu.....  The old Thermae had the casualty rate of the Somme..... hardly anyone who knew that place is alive today.....

When Sukhumvit was in full swing a few years back, if you could walk up Suk from Soi 7, up to Asoke junction and not be damaged by something or someone you were having a lucky night......  Even dropping bombs on people gets boring after a while, and people just come out and say...... Fig it !   Just the same as C19, just another danger to consider, certainly not worth dwelling on.....  It's time to come out from under the bed and start rolling the dice again....... It was fun..... or go back home and get a job in Tescos......
