PHUKET: Police say they are investigating an entertainment venue in Phuket Town for late trading after the Phetchaburi Police Chief, who has a residence on the south side of town, called 191 to complain about loud nightclub music at 4:30am yesterday (Feb 21).

The Petra Islands Nation Park, in Thailand’s southernmost province of Satun, has temporarily closed the popular Prasat Hin Pun Yod (1,000 stone castle spires) tourist attraction after a huge rock, which formed part of the feature, collapsed into the sea.

Today (Feb 22) is the first day for people without smartphones, the elderly and the disabled to sign up at any branch of the Government Savings Bank (GSB) or the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), in addition to Krungthai Bank (KTB).
