giddyup
I know Thailand quite often gets far lower levels of equipment for the same car/pickup sold overseas, and I'm wondering if the same thing happens with computers. This Lenovo V55T-15API sells in the UK (and probably other places) with 8GB RAM, the same model here is only 4GB, or am I reading this wrong and DDR4 is the same as 8GB RAM, or you pay more for 8GB? https://www.lazada.co.th/products/lenovo-desktop-pc-v55t-15api-by-nt-computer-i841472871-s1713122944.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.1.81145418tiVBQx&search=1&freeshipping=1 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lenovo-V55T-15API-11CC0009UK-Desktop-Windows-Black/dp/B0845NV1LL Edited February 23, 2021 by giddyup

The average user in the UK is probably more proficient than the average user in Thailand hence needs higher spec. 2. They've reduced the spec in Thailand to reduce the purchase cost in the hope they will sell more.

That may be the case as the UK model sells for 428 pounds, which is 18,000 baht, and the one from Lazada is only 10,900 Baht. timendres
Vendors configure the equipment they sell to best match the local market. What this says is that price is more important than capacity here.

Sophon
The PC is sold in different configurations, just as it is in the UK. Here is a seller in the UK selling a 4GB ram version. Edited February 23, 2021 by Sophon
Eindhoven
Bare in mind that with this PC you can only have one storage drive unless you disconnect the DVD drive. Probably not an issue for most, but better to be aware. I have three storage drives in my PC.
