Of course I've read the rules. I'm dreading hitting the 5,000 post mark when you have to get them tattooed onto your body !

That's true. I have been visitting the hospital frequently and in the waiting room the tellys are turned up as loudly as possible so you miss your name being called . I can't understand the progs but the adverts kill me. There is one where the mum appears deliriously happy to wash her fatty son's filthy shirt (by hand ) and another where a woman uses some sort of face wash and advances - by the miracle of time lapse photography or something, through miserable pale brown, slightly cheerier beige and euphoric pinky white. Bizzare.

When painting workspaces and storage rooms I've found you can get a "brighter white" by adding just a bit of apple green or brighjt blue to the white paint. I assume that will be the natural evolutuion of "whitening" products. Wasn't aware that pinkish hue had any particular benefit.

Besides, I can think of much better places to look at pink bits than here on TV !

Besides, around here I don't think there is such a thing as "pink". Everything seems to be the same dusty beige colour. Maybe that's why I spend so much time on Walking Street when I'm home. All those pretty lights and colours at night !

When I started teaching at the University I had to wear a collared shirt so I went to Warrarot Market and bought seven different coloured shirts plus a white one. They were all exactly the same style but each colour corresponded to the colour of the day - helped me to remember what day of the week it was and in the case of Purple (Saturday) and Red (Sunday) it meant if I was at work I had made a mistake with the calendar.

Tuesdays colour is Pink and so I walked in on the first day after I bought them with a fluorescent pink shirt and my black pants - I looked like a bizarre liquorice allsort but the students loved it. The dean of the faculty however suggested that I restrict my Tuesdays sartorial elegance to a white shirt saying he thought the trend would spread to the other farung teachers and didn't want to face that concept.

Normally I would never wear pink and would have said there is only one thing pink I look good in but to mention it would probably ban me for life

I have a 'salmon' pink shirt with a very subtle (had to see unless you look) check running through it. I wear it without a tie on my smart casual days. It also needs to be sunny!

I had a Songkran Shirt that was Schiaparelli (my spelling is really off today) Pink Hawaiian/Florida Tropical Shirt. It was covered in tropical Birds like Toucans, MacCaws etc. On the front was a big flamingo neck and head. The flamingo is wearing sun glasses and it rises directly from the the top button of my pants. Looks quite disconcerting but made me quite popular.
