The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has said that airlines in Thailand can once again serve food and beverages to passengers.

Serving food and drink had been banned since last December as a preventive measure against the spread of COVID-19.

The sale of souvenirs and the distribution of free newspapers and inflight magazines had also been banned.

However, on Thursday CAAT announced that food and drink could be served again, and souvenirs could also be sold to passengers.

CAAT also reminded passengers that other measures, such as mask wearing, remain in place.
