Region 5 police chief Lt-Gen Prachuap Wongsuk sent in his men and police from the Chiang Kham force after information was received of transportation of drugs between Phayao and Chiang Rai in the north of Thailand.

At Ban Thung Mork they found dozens of blue fertilizer sacks containing 11.2 million Ya Ba pills (methamphetamine mixed with caffeine).

Transporting them was a 36 year old man from Trat who said that this was his first consignment.

He said he had been hired to take the load to Ayutthaya. He claimed he was paid 200,000 baht to transport what he was told were oranges.

He also said that he had no money and his wife was suffering from cancer.

The drugs and a Mitsubishi Triton were seized and more information about the case was promised on Friday.

Quite the haul good for them.

Wonder what the street value is?

Not sure why they would announce this though as it probably burns their opportunity to potentially work this transporter back to the distributor or manufacturer.

Anyway,  hope the right thing is done with this dope and it is off the street for good.

A man was through a custom check at the airport where the officers discovered many kilos of fine coffee beans, What's is that? asked the custom man, Bird's feed said the man, bird's feed? puzzled the officer, since when birds feed on coffee bean sir? Well, said the man, i put it out there for them to feed on, if they wish to feed on it or not it's up to them...
