The satellite image shows the water level of the Mekong River this year is much lower than in 2019, sand bars are exposed, according to the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA).

GISTDA said the apparent drought will affect agriculture in the Northeast of Thailand.

The images, from the Landsat-8 satellite, were posted on GISTDA’s Facebook page, saying it was comparing January 2019 and 2021. The location is in the Pakchom district of Loey province.

Rainy season is months away as dry season just started. So you will hear more droughts all across Thailand in the coming months.

Satellite images show that Laos appears to have shut the mekong down to a trickle at the xayaburi dam. This is not far upstream from Thailand. Laos destroying the mekong to fill their dream of being the battery of asia is not worth it.  Everyone say it together: ban laos!

In some way or the other once again China is behind this. It is time the world on the whole takes a  United harsh aggressive suppressive stand against the Commie CCP regime. Enough is enough, and less CCP world interaction and letting them do anything they want is more.
