Thanks for your advice—but I won’t change my bet.  Let’s see who gets benefit from this $1.9 trillion spending.  As a retiree, the debt won’t get paid off in my lifetime.  More a problem for next generations.

Rest easy my friend. There is over a trillion available in the treasury that can be used for the stimulus spending. Not much needed to be borrowed.

The Return of the Deficit Hawks.

They cried, screamed, and gnashed their teeth, when Obama tried to get us out of the 08 recession. Created of course by republican lead deregulation of our financial laws (thanks Phil Graham). But if Trump hits the spending & deficits are created, or Jr Bush or even Ronald Reagan, they are unconcerned and weather it just fine.

Good to see everything is back to normal.

One reason many of us left the GOP.  No more being fiscally conservative.  Just a bunch of conspiracy theory nuts and religious people.  Or....racists.

Fiscal conservatism was a bed rock of the GOP for a very long time.  I doubt this 1.9 trillion will be spent perfectly well.  But, it's a once in a lifetime disaster. Go big or go home.  In the words of the fed chief.

Well, it was an alleged bedrock. Starting with Reagan, that bedrock turned to mush whenever a Republican was President.

Something many Trump supporters don't understand.

Oh, I don't think he's looking that long into the future, mark my words.

Marking your words is becoming rather tedious, marking your ageist nonsense more so.

Feel free not to cash the $1400 check, after all, not a single Republican voted for it.

Mark it up as doing your bit for future generations.
