UK’s new quarantine rules could impact people travelling from Thailand

If you go on Gov.uk  it has the "RedList" countries that if you have been to in last 10 days before your flight or transit through you have to quarantine in a hotel 

Things can only get better. Just spoken to my mother in Scotland who says many restrictions have been lifted today.

Not sure that will apply to people entering from abroad. A lot is politics but like Thailand they want to reduce the risk of any Covid or Covid variants arriving into the country and undermining the vaccine...

As you correctly stated, you do not need to hotel quarantine. You do, however, still have to quarantine at home.

The UK is doing no difference that what Thailand is doing, only the UK are making passengers from red list Countries quarantine, 

Thailand is making every passenger  from EVERY Country quarantine, so why has Thailand got the right to Complain.... 

If you are in transit with Qatar Airways thru Doha you 

will inevitably be required to change aircraft....to

provide the opportunity to visit their wonderfully

over-priced Duty Free
