Sitting watching the americas cup yachting.

In my opinion i prefer the old races where they raced actual yachts, not these space racers. Its kind of lost its gloss for me.

In these types of competitions i prefer participants to be given the same equipment and let the best person win.

I saw a motorbike race years ago, riders draw the keys out of a hat and thats your bike for the race.

I just think everyone should have the same stock standard stuff, the technology can improve, but it improves for all, then go for it.

Anyone else think that way?

I'm not a yachting fan, it's like watching paint dry.

I have no objection to advances in technology. I would not be playing golf if we were still in the era of persimmon woods, steel shafts and blade irons. I wouldn't be able to hit the ball over a jam tin.
