I saw nothing a couple of days ago saying I wouldn't be able to reply to posts on WN and at the top it says it's not going to be updated from today.

An explanation would be "polite", and a lot of people posted on it, so I guess that means a lot less posters will be using TVF.

I can't edit the title, but I was wrong about entertainment news- I can still quote and reply on that subforum.

Definitely can't quote or reply to anything on world news.

Well thats not good. It was the most interesting threads and not really finding anything interesting in the current content tab.

Therefore, from 1 April 2021 the World News forum will no longer be updated daily and may only be updated for major breaking news stories, covering significant global events.

May I ask this in the Pattaya forum , because I believe Bangkok may be different Air conditioned bars , i am observing they get less customers, do you believe I'm correct ? I had a farang recently who told me that particular bar failed as it had glass windows and was air conditioned, I was absolutely and what's the word.... gobsmacked! Does it make you consider stepping in perhaps some hesitation ? and opening the glass doors to go in , do you prefer open bars and why ? I didn't notice

No I did not read the whole thread, that would take too long, time is money. It also seems a lot of people use agents as they do not have the 800k for part of the year and then a fixed amount of 400k in the bank for the rest of the year and so the agent fiddles it for them re the money part of the visa extension. That would be worrying me as there could be a crackdown at any time and full checks carried out, in Thailand I want everything to be straight and not have to worry about fiddling the systems with a dodgy agent and dodgy immigration officers who turns a blind eye for reward. Plus having 400k in a bank for most of the year and five months at 800k is not much of a loss compared to the other finances, a few quid lost in investments is not much of a cost when compared to the worry of being on the fiddle with the use of an agent. Money should be partly used to offset any need for dodgy dealings resulting in stress free living.
