Hi.

I have a couple of questions regarding COE requirements.

On the COE website it states: “Once your COE is Pr-Approved, the applicant can now buy flight ticket and Book ASQ hotel”.

 

One of the COE requirement for Pr-Approval is to have a Valid Visa doc uploaded.

I will be applying for a Non-Imm O-A visa in the U.S.

My flight ticket will have to be fully paid prior to applying for COE, since O-A visa requires booked/confirm ticket, correct?

 

Does ASQ hotel need to be stated during Pr-Approval?

Can I book an ASQ hotel without paying the full amount?

What format should the documents be when uploaded to COE?

No requirement to book your flight for the O-A Visa application.

Read the Guidance for requirements.

If you 'tick' the I acknowledge box and 'next', you can view through the form to see what formats are acceptable for document uploading.

That depends on the terms and conditions of which hotel you choose.

I believe most will want full payment (confirmed booking) or at least a sizeable deposit.

They request Travel By/Flight No.

Expected date of arrival in Thailand and search for the flight number for that given time/date.

They're not requesting a confirmed booking.

Then apply for COE without booking my flight and ASQ hotel.

You can register and get pre-approval, but will have to upload confirmed flight, ASQ and Insurance for the COE letter.

Must be uploaded within 15 days of pre-approval.
