Malaysians residing in Thailand advised to register with Embassy

BANGKOK (Bernama): Malaysians residing in Thailand are advised to register with the Malaysian Embassy in Bangkok or the Consulate General in Songkhla.

Malaysian Ambassador to Thailand, Datuk Jojie Samuel said the embassy is collecting data of Malaysians residing in the kingdom.

This to facilitate the Thai authorities in gathering data on foreigners in need of the Covid-19 vaccine shot in the kingdom, he added.

the best would be contacting local hospital or travel clinic to do privately.

If malaysian authorities are so concerned, they should roll out their own vax program at consulates, cultural centres or even mosques attended by their citizens. Malaysia has already bought the last year vax for 82% of population (at cost of $500mln) and by now they have ordered more. They will have surplus for the 3rd shot
