BANGKOK (NNT) - The Prime Minister has ordered government agencies to create an online platform, collecting government’s missions, services and other works that are beneficial and can be accessed by citizens.

Government Deputy Spokesperson Traisulee Traisaranakul revealed that Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-O-Cha has ordered all sectors of the government to launch the platform within 3 months.

According to the deputy spokesperson, the platform will provide citizens with information on services, local authorities’ missions and answers to public concerns. This way it will help the government sector provide services efficiently.

Moreover, the PM’s order is also in accordance with the national digital development plan, which aims to increase the public’s access to government services, help develop private operators’ competitive capabilities and enable everyone to monitor the government’s transparency.

First start with the MOPH data base and open it completely back up so it is transparent and we can look at all the categories and stats.  Hiding what you don't want others to see is downright disgusting and shows how much you folks lie Prayut.

A government run website ---- what a great idea!  Now we will get reliable, accurate information on everything we need to know.  And, I'm sure it will work just fine, like, for example, the immigration website.

Likely to be developed and managed by the military and its support contractors.

We have Google, call it Gaggle.

Can't they use Wikipedia or even Thai visa? Maybe a  facebook group as that's very popular. If it's anything like the current immigration website with improvements that have killed the best interactive bits we can do without although a Government Petition site would work well. On line democracy would keep the streets clear and retire all those surplus politicians!
