The problem is the millions of dollars that the US has paid out already in contracts for the provision of vittles to the US military arriving during that period is now no doubt now sitting in overseas bank accounts of the owners of 3 or 4 suppliers. If it does get cancelled what then ?

What will all those poor sailers/Marines do when they find out all the bars with all those really tall girls that have those really big boobs (and really big feet, and big hands, and deep voices) are all closed ?

Used to be hilarious watching them on Walking Street in years past. They'd see all the LBs at Jenny's or the Linda bar and it never occurred to them that they were guys.

Of course, by the time they'd made it that far down WS they'd already passed a couple dozen bars full of real women and were usually half drunk as well. So when they saw the katoeys they thought they'd struck gold ! All those tall girls with big cannonball boobs and no one had bar fined them yet ! Jackpot !

Of course, shore leave may be restricted this time about, which would really suck (or would result in a lack of suck). 

They usually do some kind of charity thing when they are here as well, which may or may not happed either. Maybe. Or not. Possibly. Who knows ? Will have to wait and see !

Needs some luck/optimism to see free movement and a WS with some life in August.

Wish there was but I am pessimist.

Gonna be interesting when they come for shore leave expecting same as before and find the majority of bars are closed and the majority of the Ladies have gone back home to work in the fields as bars shut down and no stinking smelly (according to a lot of government officials) foreign tourists to keep them busy and employed.
