Non o visa expires while in uk

Featured Replies

Morning

I'm seeking advice on my predicament.

I have to return to London in the next 4-6 weeks and am unsure of my return date. I could be 2-4 months. However, my non O based on thai child will expire on 22nd August.

Any suggestions on how to go about this situation or will I have to start again and return on a tourist visa.

Regards.

Martin

I assume you have a extension of stay (it is not a visa) based upon being the parent of a Thai.

If there is a chance you would be returning prior to August 22nd you could apply for a re-entry permit at immigration to keep it valid when you enter the country.

If not before your extension expires you could apply for a single entry non-o visa at embassy in London.

Or you could enter visa exempt and apply for a 90 day non-o visa at immigration.

Pay an agent to get you a 1 year extension.

Agents can get the 'can't renew early' requirement waived.

I am sure he already has a extension. If he only had a 90 day entry from a non-o visa it would expire before August 22nd.

Maybe but not all offices have nearby agents that can do it. Some provinces have none to do anything.
