Website looks fine and would sell me tickets. Twice weekly from Bangkok to Europe.

None of their callcenters answers the phone.

Has anybody actually been sitting on one of these flights?

You can look at flightradar24 (or other live tracking sites), for instance this morning AY141 from Helsinki landed on time. Flightaware gives some history roughly last 12-14 days), shows that AY141 landed 10 times since May 10th.

In theory it is possible that they only carry cargo but actually I think they are running passenger flights, at least on AY142 (BKK-Helsinki). Local contacts: +6624304791, or [email protected] (and they are supposed to have a live chat function which you can find on their website).

It's never a good sign

imagine if you have a problem with them

whatever it could be, and you are unable to have someone from

the company to talk to, not an enjoyable situation

Five times weekly to Helsinki - it coul be your next leg restricting it further.

That's what their website says, I know. And they will happily accept my money for these published trips.

Question: do they actually physically fly and transport passengers?

Flight radar (thx, corman) and the airport websites seem to be the only option to find out.

It's a while ago that posters confirmed having flown to Helsinki.

Finnair booking site shows prices for four flights weekly (Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat).

Booking can be continued to the point of passenger details.

Very likely passenger flights take place.

Different from BA where flightstats shows flights with the usual flight numbers but no booking possible. Cargo seemingly.

Finnair are a straightforward company, just be aware of what is included. The various gulf airlines can sometimes work out cheaper when you include all the extras.

I found it easy to phone Finnair support when I needed to get a refund for a flight canceled due to the pandemic.

AirAsia, on the hand, were completely dishonest. The only way to interact with them them was via a rigged online chat system. AirAsia management are, literally, criminals.
