I have just volunteered for the first cohort of Chula VRC’s mRNA vaccine. Perhaps scientists can get us effective vaccines.

While we wait for vaccines, readers-at-risk will be interested to read nutritional and orthomolecular prophylaxis and treatment for Covid: https://www.evms.edu/media/evms_public/departments/internal_medicine/Marik_Critical_Care_COVID-19_Protocol.pdf.

Many of us are using safe and effective prophylaxis for Covid, including the vermifuge Ivermectin. An overview, including potential side effects, may be found here: https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-1122/ivermectin-oral/details.

Guidelines are 200 micrograms per kilogram of body weight on Day 1 and Day 3, then once every four weeks thereafter,

While pharmaceutical Ivermectin may be purchased at many pharmacies in Thailand, it’s not particularly cheap! My personal solution is using En-Dex, 4-milligram veterinary tablets. They won’t kill your dog, either! Available on both Lazada & Shopee.

Thonburi hospital has a signup for Moderna through their Line account.   The link is http://line.me/R/ti/p/%40589nycaj

Projected date is October 2021, so this just might be their supply department checking to see how much to order.   My reservation # was 100000 something and just two days later, I had my kids (presuming kids will have the go ahead to use it by then) sign up and their number was 700000-ish.   So the demand is there I think.

I can do the Netflix shelter at home life until October if it means not having to fly stateside to get vaccinated.

I got to the Thonburi Health Group Line page.  Just one more site asking for your details and maybe a pre-registration for something down the road that they don't have yet.  Certainly not an appointment page.

I'm done "registering" with sites that may be abandoned a week later, especially since I noticed I now get SMS spam I never got before "registering" on such sites.  If I can get an actual appointment through an official government site, or from a private hospital I trust, fine.  If not, I'm off to the States at the end of the month where I know I can book online a next-day appointment for Moderna or Pfizer at my local pharmacy.
