Does anybody know if a general health insurance ( similar to the one required for the O-A visa ) is required to get back into Thailand on a Non-O retirement extension stamp? I cannot find any mention of this situation. I have a current multi re-entry stamp. I understand insurance it is not required for simply renewing the extension in Thailand.

I am concerned about leaving and then not being able to get back in.

Thanks Tony

Whether you need the medical insurance or not to get a certificate of entry depends upon the embassy or official consulate that issues it. It would have to be valid to the day your current extension ends.
