I need a new water heater for the bath, the current one a Steibel Eltron DHC 8 has just died, have had an electrician look at it and he says you need a new one, this has lasted about 3 years, I expected longer from this company but there we are. So am looking for recommendations for a replacement. The electrician recommended that I should go to Homepro for a replacement. The water heater is for the bath only, any help would be much appreciated.

We have a Mazuma (Redring) 8kW multipoint (so ok for the tub) which works well.

If you like lots of hot in the tub you might like to look at the gas heaters.

 

Thanks for your input, I did previously have a Mazuma, nothing but trouble and last a week past its guarantee. Had not thought about gas water heaters, worth bearing mind but surprise surprise the electrician returned in the afternoon and managed with the wife's attention to get the Stiebel working so normal service is not restored!
