BANGKOK (Reuters) -Thai Airways International Pcl won court approval on Tuesday for restructuring its $12.9 billion debt load as the airline that is already under bankruptcy protection seeks to turn around its fortunes.

Thai Covid-19 center to consider full opening of restaurants in Bangkok, will be discussed this Friday with Public Health Ministry, CCSA operations director says

The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) is planning to consider a full opening of restaurants in Bangkok if officially proposed by the Public Health Ministry at a general meeting this Friday, the CCSA operations director revealed to the press today, June 15th.

Thai Airways seeks new capital to resume operations after rehabilitation plan approval

Financially-strapped Thai Airways International (THAI) is seeking 50 billion Baht worth of capital from both the government and private financial institutions to boost its liquidity, so the struggling airline will be able to stay afloat and expand its operations, after the Central Bankruptcy Court approved its rehabilitation plan today (Tuesday).

Phitsanulok schools closed after one day of reopening following COVID-19 infections

Six schools in Chart Trakarn and Nakhon Thai districts of Thailand’s northern province of Phitsanulok have been ordered to close until further notice, after only one day of school reopening for the new school term on Monday, when the parents of a student and a cable technician were found to be infected with COVID-19.
