Popular Post Pattaya Spotter Posted June 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 16, 2021 I've been advised that the Phuket Covid-19 vaccine registration site is now open to foreigners without work permits, i. e., retirement visa holders and other non-working foreigners residing on the island. The site is linked below but it's in Thai only (of course) so you will have to use a browser that can translate it (e.g., Chrome). https://xn--12cmj6ba0a7b3g4a6fud5d2a.com/ 4
Pattaya Spotter Posted June 16, 2021 Author Posted June 16, 2021 I believe it would be either the Vaccination For Non-Work Permit Foreigners or the generic Vaccination Appointments For Foreigners category . 1
LivinginKata Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Promised app in English. Not sure this is the one to use. I plan use https://thailandintervac.com/public.php when have Phuket Hospital listed

He said its now open to all foreigners and not just WP holders. I don't know anything about the site you mention. 1
foreverlomsak Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 you state in the topic title "Vaccination Sign-up Site Now Open For All Foreigners" then in the first line 10 minutes ago, Pattaya Spotter said: I've been advised that the Phuket Covid-19 which is it all foreigners or Phuket only or as your user name suggests Pattaya

It's for the I believe free Sino vaccine shots (don't know which one they're using) in prep for the "Sandbox" debut. Until recently it was limited to foreign business owners or WP holders and now it's open for non-working foreigners. ps: I have edited the title to make this clear it is for Phuket. 1

Hi And just to confirm registration works as three friends just registered in minutes. They do not have work permits. It is also reported in the daily Thai Covid number thread 2

It's probably good to have it here too because many members have stopped reading the daily numbers thread...I certainly have. 1
NCC1701A Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 these Thai government websites are not secure and your personal information will be compromised. 1
madmitch Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Thanks for the info @Pattaya Spotter. I've been into the site and registered. The page the button links to is in English. It's very straightforward Now let's see what happens! 1

How many copies of your name, age and passport number are already floating around Thailand...every time you check into a hotel or rent a car or moto you have to give out this info, let alone every time one does anything at immigration or Land Transport. If one wants a vaccine (and free I believe) they won't be concerned about the issue you raise. 1
Somtamnication Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 With so many bugs and hacks, I would not register with a ten foot pole! 1

Popular Post KarenBravo Posted June 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 16, 2021 You can also use www.phuket.win to register for an appointment. 4
Popular Post madmitch Posted June 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 16, 2021 There have been no reports of the Phuket-specific app being compromised. Is it any different to doing a 90 day report online, booking a flight with a Thai airline or photocopying personal information that ends up on the reverse side of an Immigration Office form? I'm happy to risk it. 5
Popular Post oldcpu Posted June 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 16, 2021 Thanks - I've been checking that site every day early in the morning so I had not seen the 'update' on that site. I registered a few minutes ago (I am age-67 on a retirement permission to stay extension ) - now my status is pending approval for the registration - and I guess its now time to wait. My view on COVID vaccines has 'evolved' with time, where my current view is to take the first WHO (and Thai-FDA) approved vaccine that I can get (this year) and then maybe next year go for a $$ booster with Moderna or Pfizer or other ... (TBC of course in this dynamic situation). 4
WhiteBuffaloATM Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 used www.phuket.win to register used non-work permit foreigner tab leave incomprehensible “village no” field blank or cannot register intervac website doesnt work will not “translate” a thai language website intended for foreigner use
WhiteBuffaloATM Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 couldnt careless about my basic thai imm. data being commonly available worldwide or not its all out there anyway on multiple thai data bases fixated upon address control of everyone here data insufficient for identity theft or bank scam without actual docs & access codes

Thank you for the answer. My opposition to the entire registration situation is the WEBSITE and its data. Understand now? 1

I think I saw your name, age, and passport number on the back of my piece of scratch paper the last time I renewed my visa ???????????? KarenBravo Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 2 minutes ago, Pattaya Spotter said: I think it may be the "Moo" number ???? That is correct. The field only accepts numbers. It has nothing to do with postcode. The area covered by a postcode is huge in comparison to village number. 1 1

I would have thought "village number" would be obvious to any Thai. Hope this doesn't affect you being given an appointment........
Pattaya Spotter Posted June 17, 2021 Author Posted June 17, 2021 I signed up this morning...used my "Moo" number for village field and received a "Success" confirmation message box when I submitted the information.
Agusts Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 So what vaccine do you think they give..., Chinese (Sinovac) for under 60 and Thai made AZ for over 60....!?
