Workplaces with covid cases - what is the protocol?

Featured Replies

Is anyone aware of the protocol for workplaces where someone is found to be positive? Is any shut down or cleaning required? Thanks

All reports I've seen are shut down and deep cleaning before reopening.

We had a Covid-positive student at our language school in early April.  All school staff and the student's classmates were tested (all negative) and advised to self-quarantine for 14 days (no checks!) and the school was "deep cleaned".

Where did they get tested? Some free tests take days to have and then days of waiting for the result. Did you have to inform the authorities?

We all got tested at PCT Laboratory Services, Soi Charan Sanitwong 67 Yaek 12, Bang Phlat.  The tests were not free, our employer arranged them and paid for all employees.  The results came via email 24-hours later.   I have no idea whether the school informed the authorities.
