BANGKOK (NNT) - Thailand’s Department of Medical Services (DMS) has joined with private agencies to improve the services of the 1668 COVID-19 call center, due to concerns about the virus situation in the country.

According to the department’s Facebook page on Saturday morning, the demand for beds for COVID-19 patients has risen five-fold.

The DMS has joined with the Thai Contact Centre Trade Association and other private agencies to increase the call center’s lines, to improve the handling of calls.

In addition to the 1668 hotline, people who are seeking beds for themselves or their family members, can contact Line ID “@1668.reg.”

Now that is the most worrying aspect of this article.

So will we get the same rise in numbers presented every day which would match the demand.

I doubt it and will be fed the same narrative. This statistic gives a clear indication the numbers are being fudged and someone should be held accountable.

Calls relating to patients requiring beds as they are suffering symptoms are up 5-fold yet that doesn't match the daily numbers.... hmmm.
