sinovac had 83% in Turkey trial, so well above 47% of curevac. No point dismissing sinovac.

No point of compering different vaccinations, because they were researched in different settings, different strains. 

Certainly, each vac will have to be boosted. Not only sinovac, but pfizer as well (within 6-12 months).

 

so far thailand has some 30mln sinovac and 1.5mln pfizer - probably all, bar 10% for foreigners, should go for medics and health volunteers.

 

The more different vax, the bigger chance for getting larger volumes, the better protection against different strains (including those coming in the future)

Giving Sinovac to Doctors in Indonesia didn't go so well.

 

"JAKARTA (Reuters) -- More than 350 Indonesian doctors have contracted COVID-19 despite being vaccinated with Sinovac, and dozens have been hospitalized, officials said, as concerns rise about the efficacy of some vaccines against more virulent virus strains.
