  • Sometimes, I feel great shame for my fellow foreigners. I thought we were intelligent enough to understand the situation and follow instructions. Apparently, I was very wrong.

Maybe they don't care because they think COVID isn't any worse than the flu. And would prefer not to live the rest of their lives in a state of constant fear locked in their homes.

  • Nah there are  no walking sticks in sight so i doubt it the crowd is too young ????   Plus we all know that the nobody on Thaivisa would break the law like that.

Honest, I stopped drinking at 9. That is why there is still beer in my glass.

I think if covid has taught us anything, it's that a lot of people, perhaps most, think they are special, the rules don't apply to the and they, or their friends/family, couldn't possibly have covid, ever.  It's very much an "everyone else" problem.

Yes, unfortunately that´s the deranged mindset which a great percentage of the worlds population seems to hold on to.

Big assumption that its fear that keeps everyone inside. Some stay inside to make sure it won't get worse and more measures are needed. I certainly don't worry much when i go shopping I just wear mask follow the rules ect. We know that it spreads easy in bars and such. I rather have the numbers come down so more severe measures are not taken.

Call it responsibility instead of fear. But that sounds a lot less denigrating to the others then fear.

As for those who think covid is any worse then the flu then if they are so sure let them get in close contact with some infected people and try it out for themselves. I remember the American that died from catching it during a Covid party. I am sure he revised his opinion just before he died.

Or the rules/ laws dont apply to them....I call this the covfefe clause...

In Thailand no laws apply to anyone who has a few hundred baht in their pockets (or an important friend/family member).

The m/c helmet laws, and drink driving laws certainly don't apply to me.

Thai MPs certainly don't appear to have any problems with drinking and parties at any time of the day or night.

From a moral standing.......seems their moral standing is laying down...

Morality is imposed on us by our rulers/overlords, who generally have none of the morals they espouse.

Foreign or Thais, has no importance here. Actually, I do not think so. Lately I have recognized that working girls are actually smarter than politicians.

I find you drama queens quite amusing. ‘Locked in your home’. Perceived victimhood is so edgy these days

It holds importance to the racist pigs that love nothing more than to say the word "foreigner" to get their message out to Thai nationals that "foreigners" are NOT good.

I can clearly hear that you are not a farmer. My cows have told me that there are no racist pigs. On the other hand they agree with that foreigners are no good, as they prefer to end up like laab or nam tok moo.

And they deliver to you, cash on delivery in Thailand. Do you say that you keep social distancing rules when paying them? How exactly do you do that?

Yes, I do that myself without relying on a Thai to do it for me, like you. That only works if the mobile phones are really close. So how do you pay without getting close to the one delivering the goods?

Good, also implement a law that everyone must have health coverage in these covid-19 times. All Thai's do so only foreigners left. Force foreigners breaking restrictions to take a 1 year USD 100,000 health insurance which covers covid-19 or prove that they have 3.3 million baht in cash in a Thai bank account, or deport them if they refuse.

The way that the delta is spreading across the kingdom I think I would welcome being deported my Thai GF can take care of my property while I’m away

Don't order any vaccines to truly protect people but surely be diligent in arresting them if they are drinking alcohol.

Yesterday I went to a restaurant and noticed several customers with beer bottles on their tables.  Inquired of the waitress, she indicated yes they were Heineken zero alcohol.  Now tell me, how them removing their masks to drink the non-alcohol beer was any less likely to transmit Covid than if they were drinking the identical beer with alcohol.

I'm more ashamed of seeing foreigners support these silly rules set by the goverment baboons. Oh wait, forgot that Covid mostly attacks after 9pm and is attracted to the smell of alcohol. Put them to jail, those dirty foreigners.
