Kids will be safer in "Sandbox Schools" - pilot project set to start nationwide next week

Budget constraints eh....testing once a month is clearly not going to work. Testing once a day could potentially work depending on the accuracy of the test kits.

Any update on this "sandbox school" scheme ?

Thairath said that "100 schools" are currently trying this program.

New school year in international schools is supposed to start next week (or so). Do they participate in this program ?

And what about normal thai schools ?

Last question : the south is "yellow" on the Covid map. Krabi, Koh Samui, Surat Thani etc.... Does it mean that in those areas schools are open, normally, without online classes ?

Kids aren't unsafe from covid. It barely affects them.

The ONLY people who should be staying at home are the "at risk" individuals.

But no, let's lockdown planet Earth for less than 1% of humanity who are high risk of dying from covid.

Absolutely pathetic, my daughter's kids were getting tested twice a week in the UK as part of safeguarding the school kids.

'two or four weeks', well which is it? but i digress, you are absolutly right, both time frames are ridiculous as symptoms typically appear after five days. anyone infected needs to be removed from the general poulation as quickly as possible to prevent potentially widespread infection of others. therefore, testing twice in a five day school week is obviously a far more effective and common sense approach.
