cliveuk Posted August 14, 2021 Posted August 14, 2021 Myself and my two half Thai children are in the UK and have been for the past four years. We will be returning to LOS soon for an extended period, they have new UK passports but their Thai passports are out of date. I presume they will be Ok to enter and leave Thailand on there UK passports with 30 days visa exemption? If we stay over the 30 days and don't get their Thai passports sorted will they be treated as a non Thai and therefore overstayers even though they were born Thai. Any clarification would be appreciated.
Kwasaki Posted August 14, 2021 Posted August 14, 2021 Well either get the proper visas to stay over 30 days before you come or when your here. You will have to do that for yourself. Thais passports easy to obtain if they have Thai ID cards. 1
Popular Post ubonjoe Posted August 14, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 14, 2021 If they enter using their UK passport they have to comply with immigration rules. But the can easily apply for one year extension for being a returning Thai national. Thais can enter with a expired passport. But they could get a emergency passport to make it easier. Info in Thai is here on the London embassy website. https://london.thaiembassy.org/th/publicservice/การขอเอกสารการเดินทางฉุกเฉิน-emergency-travel-document-etd-กรณีหนังสือ-2?page=5d6636ce15e39c3bd0007308&menu=5d6636ce15e39c3bd0007309 2 1
