Popular Post thierryviteau
Good day ! I really wonder if anybody else think that it's a chance that we ight have to wear a mask forever ? I think that Thailand has never been so clean, eating at restaurants when they are open is so much more hygienic, without chef or waiter spitting in your dish (yes, anybody talking above your dish is spitting in it), even street food is more enjoyable. I will wear a mask forever and I wish that it becomes an obligation for everybody or at least for anybody dealing with food, just as in the industry. I also think that before covid we were mostly criminals spreading flu and other virus that could kill people. I really love the new normal, I hope that you do too ! 3 3 8 2

Popular Post ezzra
Try wearing a real good quality mask like the N95 that is not easy to breath with, and go on about your daily routine and you'll change your mind about wearing masks forever mate... 5 1
Popular Post vinci
i don't think mask will Last forever, because people are too much of self important, as long as covid cases and hospitalization drop close to none, people will start to take off their mask. 1
Popular Post RJRS1301
However the drawback being all the disposable masks are non biodegradable and contribute to contaminated landfill. One hopes they will begin making the disposable masks from bamboo soon, I am surprised some entrepreneurial types have not researched this and started production. The market worldwide is there. Beats waiting on tourists to stimulate the economy 3

55Jay
For sure, there will be an echo effect, giving rise to a new batch of obsessive-compulsive germaphobes and gluten-free helicopter moms. Thankfully, mask wearing was already a thing in Asia, and I really appreciated the virtual absence of mask wearing drama here, unlike the cringe-worthy show put on in other (western) countries. At the same time, disingenuous social concern fuels cringe-worthy virtue signalling on social media, and that can go into the stupid zone as well. Bill's Burgers posts a photo of staff doing a COVID inspired deep clean of the shop, which is great, and possibly long overdue anyway. Tim's Tacos raises the bar with a photo of his staff doing the same + spraying the joint down with disinfectant, so THAT becomes the new standard to impress consumers. Until Charlie over at Charlie's Cheese Stix, posts a photo of HIS staff doing all that while wearing self-contained astronaut suits. Etc., etc.....

Masks required for now, so I wear one. When they're not, I won't. No drama or trauma causing PTSD. Man, what a buncha snowflakes. LOL. 4

Popular Post Moonlover
I was in the bank last week and for a brief moment, one of the very pretty girls in there pulled down her mask and gave one of her dazzling smiles. It gave me such joy to see a pretty face laughing and smiling and I said so. It reminded of how much communication relies on facial expression and of how much I was missing it. I HATE masks. They are dehumanizing us. I never wear one at home or around the village and the sooner we are rid of them the better. 8 2 1

People weren't born with masks, but do have innate immune systems that work pretty well if given a chance. 4 1

I was personally getting infected 3X per year from people coughing in public on trains, in the street in shopping malls and them not taking care to cover their mouth and nose. The last bout in October 2019 was particularly bad and got a severe swelling earache. Had to see a doctor to get rid of it. Since the mask rules and keeping distance from other humans, have not caught any cold or flu since October 2019. Long may the mask rule continue or teach people personal hygiene when in public areas. As @huangnon mentioned above, we have an innate immune system to do that duty for us. 3 1
