Travel within Ubon with Chon Buri Plates

Been on the road now for 9 months and my Chon Buri plates have made it difficult to impossible at times.  Every province, city, village seems to make their own Covid restrictions and occasionally strictly enforces them.  Started to become more than just major headache earlier this year and decided to just find a a resort I liked and stay until travel was easier.  Good idea but now  need to get out of this rural village/town and shop and relax in a city.  

 

One last thing, one hotel told me no farangs.  Called back and talked to another person and was told no problem if I am from the province of Ubon.  Business owners and the public including me seem to have little idea of anything Covid related.

 

Going to immigration today and ask for some document that shows I reside in Ubon.  Already reported my address and hope this is easy.  Any idea what document I should request?  Also, has anybody traveled in and out of the city of Ubon the last week?  Any issues?
