Diabetes Specialist Doctor.

Featured Replies

Is there a Doctor in Pattaya who specifically deals with Diabetes patients, I would prefer a clinic rather than a hospital.

I don't know a diabetes clinic other than the BPH centre that Jacko45 mentioned above.

It may help to post whether you have type 1 or type 2 diabetes as care and treatment will be different.

For type 2 it will mainly be about nutrition and lifestyle changes which can send you into more than one specialist areas to really make a big difference and move you out of diabetes.

Type 1 of course will be purely medical/chemical treatment (as far as I know).

If you are dealing with type 2 then perhaps widen your internet search to include functional doctors, nutritionists, fitness trainers etc.

Good luck Mr. Jumbo68

Thanks for the info, currently neither Type 1 or 2, it was just a test I required, I don’t drink very much don’t smoke or overweight. My Father was Type 2 in later life, my daughter has been Type 1 since she was 7 now 40 years old. She is the one pushing me too have a check up because of the family history She is a Diabetes Specialist Nurse in the U.K., since I posted I have ordered a Blood Glucose Monitor to self check, my daughter will advise me the best way forward.

There are a few walk-in labs around Pattaya where you can get blood tests done easily and cheaply without the hassle of checking in with the hospital.
I use the one on 3rd road called MT Lab (opposite Tony's gym).

It's a great facility to easily check your blood for cholesterol, blood sugar etc.

In and out in minutes and they often send the results in just a few hours even though they say it will be the next day.

To do a proper Diabetes check it has to be done over several days before and after meals, I have used the Clinic you mentioned for a PSA and Cholesterol Test, they were very good.
