An investigative team of the Royal Thai Police arrived at Superintendent (Police Chief) Thitisan “Chief Joe” Uttanaphon’s luxury residence in Bangkok today, August 24th, to track down the house owner following the issue of an arrest warrant by Nakhon Sawan Provincial Court this morning.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - As Thailand struggles with its worst coronavirus outbreak yet, researchers in the country have developed a machine to draw out COVID-19 vaccine doses more efficiently and optimise lower-than-expected supplies.

CCSA to consider limited easing of restaurant dine-in restrictions

Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health will seek approval from the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), at its meeting this Friday, of guidelines for restaurants and other eateries in COVID-19 “dark red” provinces, should they are allowed to resume limited dine-in services.

COVID related deaths among pregnant women 2.5 times higher than others

The fatality rate among COVID-19 infected pregnant women in Thailand accounts for 1.85% of all the cases found in pregnant women and is 2.5 times higher than the death rate among patients who have no other influencing factors. The deaths are mostly due to respiratory failure, according to the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA).

Thailand on track to get 100 million shots in arms by year end, official says

Si Racha – A young woman aged about 15-years-old has been pronounced dead while two people have sustained serious injuries including a 10-year-old girl after two trailer trucks crashed in the Si Racha district at midday yesterday (August 24th). One of the drivers reportedly vanished from the scene of the accident.
