Moonlover
They were there long before you came here and they'll still be there long after you've gone. Just learn to ignore them. They aren't doing you any harm. P.S. Read my sign off signature. Edited August 29, 2021 by Moonlover 1
IvorBiggun2
They're Buffalo fly. Very irritating. Put teak tea oil around your eyes and ears to block them bothering you.

Native to Asia. In Thailand they call them Mengwi flies. Not sure on spelling. Quote The buffalo fly, Haematobia irritans exigua, is a small biting fly 3.5 – 4 mm long. It feeds off cattle and buffalo, and causes irritation which can result in reduced production if cattle are heavily infested. Buffalo flies were accidentally introduced into northern Australia from Asia in the mid nineteenth century.

bbko
Eye gnats? Use lemon to keep gnats away from your face and eyes. Wet a rag with lemon, and brush it on your forehead and cheeks. Do not get the rag near your eyes, because lemon will burn. The gnats will be repelled by the scents of lemon and will stay away from your eyes. Edited September 20, 2021 by bbko

Have you tried bathing more often? As said by others, they are called Buffalo flies , and smlling like a Buffalo is sure to attract them. ???? Seriously, do you have a lot of banana trees on your property. We do , and the bananas are coming in this month. We have more bananas than we know what to do with it, Making plenty of banana bread. Anyway i let one bunch get ripe on the counter top of our outside kitchen and when I looked at it next day it there was a cloud of these little flies over it. So also stop smelling like a ripe banana ????
