webfact
Picture: Facebook Daily News reported on severe flooding in Samut Prakan particularly at the industrial estate in the province south east of the Thai capital Bangkok. Many workers in the estate were unable to save their vehicles and were getting about in boats after heavy rain yesterday. A local fan page reported that matters would be made worse for people who had yet to pay their instalments on vehicles caught in the flood. And even worse still for those who didn't have insurance. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-08-31 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates Pictures: Daily News
Scrotobike
If Xiping's virus does not get to you or a (bent) policeman does not bag you then the floods will make you a bit wet. 1

Stargeezr
Parking in a flood risk area when it is raining, just seems a bit foolish to me. Is there not some higher ground in this area? Why would people do this to their cars or trucks especially if they are still paying for these vehicles. Geezer

You live far away from it. You need to drive to work. That's the only place to park. It is all flat land. What would you do? Some people buy cars because they actually need them. And whether they have already paid for them or not, they can't just keep them wrapped up at home until last satang is paid to the bank.

Geezer There is no high ground in this area, the Industrial estate is on the coastline. Where are the workers supposed to park when they go to work?
