I am reading the Daily News about a rail link for container traffic and have come across the acronym(?) ทีอียู, which seems to refer to capacity in some sense. No online directory has a translation. In the context of the article it reads 160 ทีอียูต่อสัปดาห์ so its something like "160 something or other per week".

A three character acronym in English becomes a six character acronym in Thai

T - E - U

ที - อี - ยู
