Fatal accident in Bangkok on Saturday triggers police review of use of containers to block protesters

Bangkok police will reconsider the use of shipping containers to block anti-government protesters after a fatal road accident last night (Saturday). A motorcyclist was killed when he rammed his vehicle into one of the containers on Samsen Road, in the Dusit district of Bangkok.

Phuket hospitals are nearing full capacity as new infections surge

Phuket’s provincial governor and health officials are sounding the alarm, saying that the COVID-19 pandemic on the popular resort island is approaching a critical level, with all the hospitals beds now 80% occupied and those remaining likely to be filled soon, with new infections averaging over 200 a day.

Ramathibodi Hospital to check quality of Lepu Medical’s test kits

BANGKOK (NNT) - The 8.5 million COVID-19 antigen test kits from Lepu Medical are expected to arrive in Thailand early next week. The Government Pharmaceutical Organization has announced they will be working with Ramathibodi Hospital to conduct quality tests on these kits, addressing any doubts concerning quality.

Phuket marks 241 new COVID cases, three deaths

Hua Hin recharge - resort to open on October 1st
