PHITSANULOK (NNT) - Tourism activities are now starting to resume following the relaxation of travel restrictions by the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration. In Phitsanulok, the first group of tourists has visited Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park for camping excursions after two months of closure.

Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park in Phitsanulok, reopened to visitors on 16th September, with some entry requirements and social distancing measures reinforced.

Last weekend, visitors, mostly families, returned to camp in the national park to enjoy nature and the cool seasonal breezes, between 17-20 degrees C.

The national park currently requires all visitors to have received a least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Visitors must make an entry reservation on the Que-Q application in advance, and must wear a mask at all times within the park’s vicinity. Those camping here are required to place their tents 10 meters away from others, as part of the social distancing measures.

Phitsanulok province is home to some other tourism attractions such as the morning sea of fog at Ban Nam Juang in Chat Trakan district. The temperature here in the morning is around a mild 18 degrees C. Visitors to the area can observe the local livelihood of Hmong people, including their picturesque terraced fields, as well as visit a reservoir and a beautiful waterfall. These areas, which still remain closed for tourists, are expected to reopen on 1st October.
