So if his words are true then the country will be on track to open up either in 6 months, which is next year or when the situation improves to an acceptable point, of which no one here in Thailand knows when or what those requirements will be.....

Notice he did not say when next year.  Being specific is not in his character.  Remember, he is never wrong.

Following his previous prediction of 1 million doses jabbed per day and 10m new vaccines per month I anticipate his latest prediction to flop.

He is obviously struggling to find a decdnt fortune teller.

In the same breath he needs to state with confidence, the tourism situation will improve NEXT year as well and have TAT stop BS headline announcements of "fully open next month, fully open next month, fully open in 2 months" etc........

Beside the % of covid vaccinated people have the authorities ever token in consideration to add the % of people who had covid and have natural immunity to the virus ?

( I remember reading an article where they estimated that a big % of population of Great Bangkok has been naturally infected ... )

Let's see.  His options were:

1. It will get better.

2. It will get worse.

3. It will stay the same.

With millions getting vaccinated, let's see....what would I answer?

On a related note, his alma mater asked for his degree back.
