Sanook reported there was a mad dash to find valuable amulets after many were found in rubble after a structure in a north eastern temple area was demolished.

An old house that used to belong to a retired civil servant was demolished but 200 valuable amulets dating back to the 1970s were found.

Fifty people were poring over the rubble including amulet traders and ordinary folk.

The Phra Thatu Phanom Somphet amulets are worth between 5,000 and 10,000 baht each.

They are a particularly sought after and auspicious amulet.

Do they not now belong to whomever owns the property?

Gosh! It must be as exciting as the day when I dug up several coca-cola bottle tops from the 1960s. Some of those were worth over a gazillion baht.

Some just want to believe ... so , let them ...

Nothing wrong with that ... except the owner of the amulet thinks that he became invincible now and goes around trying his luck ...

As usual bad reporting. Is the retired guy dead now ? House used to belong to him so who does it belong to now? The rubble i mean.
