e-visa application (O Visa for over 50s) -How fast ?

Featured Replies

Ref: O-visa eVisa application

I have 2 questions about this.

1   After uploading the files needed, as per my list below, the next option is submit.   I presume we see a payment page & no further questions ?

2   How long is it actually taking to process these eVisas ?        Some websites suggest a few hours and that applications should allow at least 5 working days.    I would like to know how long people find it actually took.  (Then I will add a safety margin)

How long it takes for final approval depends upon the embassy or official consulate your application is submitted to.

Within 5 working days is about right.

The entire process ifs much quicker than before since the stickerless visa started on September 27th.

Gday

One of the parameters on the new evisa system to be answered,  is the question ...proof of residence in the country were you are residing for example Germany . Applying as a german you have only your passport i Guss thats enoufh proof or Not ???

If applying at a embassy or official consulate in the country your a citizen of that is enough.

If not you need proof of legal residency in the country where you apply at.

You assume correctly. It can be the equivalent of 800k baht in Australian dollars in a bank.
