mikeinkamala Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 Can anyone tell me how many litres of gas a Yamaha N max will take to fill to capacity and also how much gas is still in the tank when the green warning light comes on. I didn't get a Handbook when I bought it second hand. The bike is great apart from the fuel guage which never seems accurate.
VocalNeal Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 7.1 litres and 1.7 litres. Fuel reserve tripmeter 1 1. Fuel reserve tripmeter If the last segment of the fuel meter starts flashing, the display automati- cally changes to the fuel reserve trip- meter "TRIP F" and starts counting the distance traveled from that point. To reset the fuel reserve tripmeter, push the "MENU" switch until it is re- set https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1826594/Yamaha-Nmax-155.html?page=39#manual A trip meter on the display is the best for fuel management, But you need to "calibrate" first by recording the distance travelled vs fuel added. Fill up ride until reserve flashes then remember that distance. After that just look at the distance. Of course you have to zero the trip every time you fill up.
mikeinkamala Posted October 12, 2021 Author Posted October 12, 2021 Thanks Neil, a really good informative reply, I had no idea there was an oil change meter. Thanks again, Mike
