Why can't they all just speak with one voice?

I am hearing Sandbox type scenario for Pattaya, others saying no quarantine. No concrete details from anyone.

Just farcial.

The true extent of covid in Thailand is pretty high, so why obsess with vaccinated tourists so much at the expense of the local population ? What's the obsession with testing a tourists so many times, but not locals ?

Well...it's a well known fact that the dirty foreigner is the principle spreader of such awful things.????????

So if you test positive you're a winner! They know where to come collect you and whisk you away for a luxury 14 day hospitel stay at your expense. You then can enjoy moments of panic wondering if your insurance company actually pays out for asymptotic covid with medically unnecessary eye-wateringly expensive treatment. This is also known as "a trap."

This will be all be in the travel brochure won't it?

So, "no quarantine" means one to two days of quarantine and the COE remains but with a name change.

Why wasn't this type of action done in the first place? (I realize that tests weren't rapid in Jan. 2020)  None of the isolation attempts seem to have done anything but delay the inevitable.  As soon as rapid tests became available, this would have save many businesses in Thailand.
