The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is inviting Thai citizens aged over 18 who live in the capital to register for COVID-19 vaccinations, with the first jab of Sinovac vaccine and second of AstraZeneca, from yesterday (Sunday).

Thai banks assure systems are in place to protect against cyber scams

Commercial banks in Thailand have put in place measures to protect their credit and debit card holders from cyber fraudsters who, between October 1st and 17th, stole about 130 million baht from the bank accounts of 10,700 card holders, according to the Bank of Thailand (BoT) and the Thai Bankers Association (TBA).

Central bank to do real-world test of digital currency in Q2, 2022

Phuket’s daily new COVID cases fall below 100

Hunt continues for gold shop robber, stolen items valued at B8mn

PHUKET: Police are continuing their hunt for the robber who beat a 71-year-old gold shop owner in Phuket Town with a piece of wood late Saturday night. Police have now confirmed that the gold stolen in the robbery was valued at about B8 million.

Thai-Australian model Anchilee Scott-Kemmis crowned Miss Universe Thailand

Having won this year’s national crown last night (Sunday), Thai-Australian model Anchilee Scott-Kemmis will compete in the global Miss Universe 2021 pageant, to be held in Eilat, Israel this December. Her win is being considered a changing point, as Anchilee aims to challenge existing Thai beauty standards and will represent women of other body shapes throughout the competition.

2,000 Sandbox arrivals test COVID positive branded as fake news
