Four hundred and seventy-seven new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Laos, with two deaths.

Today, 447 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported across Laos.

 

Over the last 24 hours, 5,588 tests were completed around the country, with 447 new cases verified, according to the National Taskforce for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

 

Across the country, there were 432 cases of community spread and 15 imported cases.

 

New Deaths

 

Today, two deaths linked to Covid-19 were reported.

 

A 42-year-old man from Vientiane Province's Phonhong District died in hospital yesterday afternoon. He had a blood disorder and had never been immunized against Covid-19.

 

A 23-year-old male from Meuangnoy, Saysettha District, Vientiane Capital, died in a Saysettha District detention camp. The man had one dosage of the Sinpharm Covid-19 vaccination and was suffering from an unidentified health issue.
