Anyone with a Quest 2 got the V34 software update yet?

Featured Replies

Hi all,
Is there anyone on this forum with an Oculus Quest 2 who has got the latest V34 software update? I just bought a new game - Blade and Sorcery and it won't work as I only have v 33 - then when I checked it just says no update available. I just asked Oculus support and they said: "Regards to your query, please ensure you are connected to a strong, stable WIFI network, and not a hotspot or captive portal, and try leaving the headset plugged and connected to WIFI to see if any update available.
This is normal that you have not received the latest update yet, Some users get the update later than other users.

So I just wondered if anyone else had it yet? I figure it has something to do with being in Thailand where oculus isn't supported.
Thanks

Hi Jadee,

I checked my Quest2 yesterday and I saw that I have v34. I do have Blade and Sorcery too, however I bought last week the Steam version, as I play most games via Virtual Desktop on my PC. It works very well. But it has nothing to do with your OS version, as I had v33 when I installed the game. Anywhay never had any problems with games because of the OS version. I have my Quest since last year and had several updates since then.

What support tells you is nonsense. They said this a few months ago when I had some issues. You will get your update. It might depend on where your Quest2 is originally from. Mine is a US model and that's why my updates are sooner.
