Bought this USB hub the other day

Out of interest is there any way of checking on a Windows device whether or not it is actually USB 3 or 2

What does it say on the packet? LOL   Oh yes USB3.

Try putting say a movie onto it and time it. Then do it the other way back. Then you can determine the read & write speed.
