If you assume that it was the job of the police to maintain law and order then that disqualifies Rittenhouse motive for even going there. There is no doubt that at the very least he was a vigilante. No, I am saying that only you appeared to know what his motive was at the time of the shootings. Others saw him as an active shooter. Many active shooters go on to continue the shootings at the next unsuspecting location. Rittenhouse had just shot and killed someone but you think the people who tried to stop him were unjustified in attempting to do so.
