MAJOR FIRE CAUSES SERIOUS DAMAGE TO WALKING STREET NIGHTCLUB IN PATTAYA Now, for the update: A team from Chonburi Forensic Police Region 2 yesterday (November 13th) inspected the remains of the club. Months after the fire, the cause has still been under a broad investigation amid alleged disputes regarding the cause between those involved with the venue. jacko45k
So the way to investigate and determine the cause of a fire is to go back months later after numerous heavy thunderstorms and mooch around in the cinders..... giving over the opportunity for anyone involved to tamper with the site beforehand? Bangkok Barry
If the forensic people do there job properly there would not be any doubt or 'disputes' about the cause of the fire. But I suppose that doing their job properly is beyond them.

This is the way the investigation works so as to not state it was iffy! Thus allowing an insurance claim to continue smoothly.
mikebell
The longer the deliberation, the fatter the envelope.
matchar
So I guess the outcome depends on who made the biggest offer...the owners or the insurance company...

DefaultName
What's still there is a pile of rubble & scrap metal, mostly demolished, and well tramped over. Forensics better be good to get any clues from that! ????
trainman34014
Aside from the Envelopes; this what you get when you give anybody a jacket with 'Forensic Police' on the back when they know little or nothing about the job they are supposed to be doing. If they are 'Trained' as well as the rest of the Force; like Traffic Policemen who have admitted on several occassions they don't know the Traffic Laws, then it's Dumb and Dumber staring at a pile of rubble and ashes !
